Saving the Clock:Our goal is to save the clock, restore it to working order and display it once again for the community to see. The steps toward this goal are basically as follows:

Purchase the clock and secure it
Complete 10/10/07

City approval to place it in the city Historical Park Complete 10/23/07

Begin Fund raising campaign for clock renovation & maintenance costs On-going

Select renovation team for the hands-on work Complete 3/10/08

Moving the clock from the storage warehouse to a renovation facility

Mechanical and aesthetic renovation of the clock

Create plaque and pedistal display to tell the history of the clock

Installing the clock at the Historical Park for the public to enjoy Estimated in Fall of 2008!

Maintain the clock in working order and good condition for the future

BREAKING RENOVATION NEWS - Chapters 75 and 190 (San Fernando Valley and Ventura chapters) of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors have been chosen to refurbish the Dreger Clock.
